Such longing for love and belonging. How wise the animal people. I loved When I Walked Through That Door, I Am, but also, so painful, so angry it made me feel.

Thank you to the organizers and to Mr Baca for this honest engagement with an evil system of injustice. My thoughts are with the incarcerated persons I am anxious about. No economic notions of redemption or accounting .They are not living currency even if the system of mass incarceration is built on making them just this.

I remember being in the shu with you and we played music, danced, and our gathering was filled with energy, life. It is a harsh place. People in cages. Heart-breaking. Need for healing.
