Bryson F.F. (SJEIC)
01:46:56
I am currently living on campus and would be willing to work the on campus for the SJEIC. I do not know too many specifics but if the idea is that we can not afford to open in person is due to lack of staffing, I believe there would be people ready to staff the building.
Casey Park (she/they)
01:47:32
From my understanding without this in writing, I hear that the SJEIC Appeal is for an increase to Student Wages of $25,884; increase to Speakers of $3000; $1000 for Postage/Freight. With the student wages being the priority of the appeal.
Bryson F.F. (SJEIC)
01:47:44
I do currently work for the SJEIC
Martin Gordillo
01:50:09
we do not, I can tell you from personal experience
Martin Gordillo
01:51:26
can I respond to jenessa question?
Jenessa (she/her)
01:52:06
Why don't Sport Club athletes have access to the athletic trainers who tend to the intercollegiate athletes? When Sport Clubs transitioned under Athletics, that was one of the benefits offered.
Jenessa (she/her)
01:52:43
I will look through my notes from meetings with the Athletic Director at the time.
giovanni guerrero
01:53:46
would SLL have space within any of their positions in incorporating collaboration efforts with EOP to develop a seminar pertaining to campus, state, and county resources available to undocumented students if all four positions were fully funded?
Roman Sotomayor (he)
01:57:02
I believe all 4 are fully funded?
giovanni guerrero
01:57:34
all four are being proposed to be fully funded
Roman Sotomayor (he)
01:57:52
gotcha
Jenessa (she/her)
02:00:59
Sidenote: Out of fairness to Jane, Duncan was the director, then Jill, then Jane was hired. She may be open to it and just didn't realize that was part of the selling points to the move 2-3 years ago.
giovanni guerrero
02:04:01
motion to move 4,750 from WRC to Government and External Affairs
Jourden Lamar
02:07:14
Motion to reallocate 16,119 from general operstin (student stipends) to the appeals displayed today
giovanni guerrero
02:10:18

Jenessa (she/her)
02:11:45
If A.S. wants to have an in person retreat in the fall, would that be requested tonight or appeal at next meeting?
Jenessa (she/her)
02:13:04
Perfect and thank you VP Lopez!
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:15:53
Can it not be pulled from reserves since your reserves are over your 30%?
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:16:00
just a thought
David Lopez
02:16:13
We are already pulling 51% from our reserve
David Lopez
02:16:23
and we still have two years of downturn ahead
Casey Park (she/they)
02:18:11
The Priority List is an action item next week.
Malluli Cuéllar (she, her, hers)
02:19:21
I got you i'll call david next
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:22:32
That's what I thought, it's still above 30%. Which is what I was saying, that way immediate resources could be used now for some of these areas. Thanks for the further explanation.
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:24:46
To be clear, they are not part of SJEIC post next month
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:24:51

giovanni guerrero
02:26:31
4750*
giovanni guerrero
02:30:13
half from services and supplies + guest speakers to travel in state
Rep. Witherwings (she/her/hers)
02:30:15
I don’t agree to this. As it is, the WRC needs money in order to work
Casey Park (she/they)
02:30:26
To reallocate $4750 from the WRC (half from Supplies & Services, and half from Speakers) to the Government/External Affairs to support In-State Travel for the External Affairs Representative in the spring
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:36:26
That's a great historical comparison Gio, good job looking at the data and assessing need
Dr. Eboni Ford Turnbow
02:41:06
Jenessa is correct, That is not accurate
giovanni guerrero
02:42:07
$1625 from WRC under "guest lectures" and 1625$ from DMSI under "training and development".... to Gov under "state travel"
